Kristian Matsson, aka The Tallest Man On Earth, has released many albums and EPs over the course of the last decade, and is now seeking new ways to freshen up the release of the new material he is constantly creating. Today he has announced his new project, When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground, which will be a monthly release of a new song and video, starting today with the beautiful 'An Ocean'.

'An Ocean' harks back to classic era The Tallest Man On Earth, softly focused around Matsson and his softly strummed guitar. This is the perfect setting for his natural imagery, delicately complimented by the watery-stringed production of his instrument. As the song progresses, delicate additions of strings and horns augment the sound, but never detract too much from Matsson's central lyricism.

You can hear the studio version on your preferred streaming platform. 'An Ocean' also features a video created by Matsson, with him discussing and playing the song in his studio. Watch below.
