In one of the sadder news stories of late, The Walkmen announced that they would be taking a hiatus. However, looking on the bright side of things: their frontman, Hamilton Leithauser, has just announced his debut solo album! It's called Black Hours and it'll be released on 6th May. The 11 track effort features Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors, Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend, Richard Swift from The Shins, Morgen Hendersen of Fleet Foxes, and even his ex-bandmate Paul Maroon.
