The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences held the 45th annual Juno Awards in Calgary on Sunday night, where the Weeknd, Drake, and Justin Bieber took home major wins. While the Weeknd swept the awards, winning Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Single of the Year (for 'Can't Feel My Face',) R&B/Soul Recording of the Year and Album of the Year, for Beauty Behind the Madness, his original mentor Drake took home Drake won Rap Recording of the Year for If You're Reading This It's Too Late.

Justin Bieber's Purpose nabbed the Pop Album of the Year award, while Death From Above 1979 raked in the Rock Album award. Maybe most notable however, Arcade Fire's Regine Chassagne accepted the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award on behalf of the band at the Juno Awards Gala Dinner.
