Denmark's iconic Roskilde Festival has announced the first list of performers that will headline the non-profit event. The Weeknd, who just released his Starboy album a few weeks back, will take the stage and close out the world-renowned festival, which takes place June 24 to July 1.

Other acts hitting the festival are Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, Solange, Trentemøller, G-Eazy, Moderat/Modeselektor, Blink-182 and Justice and they're among 41 acts in total that have already been announced. For more information on the festival, head here.

"We have been following The Weeknd since the beginning, and it’s no secret that he’s been topping the wishlists of our fans for the past couple of years. It’s very rare for an underground phenomenon to rise to the top while staying true to his own sound and past," Head of Programme, Anders Wahrén said. "Being one of the biggest pop artists in the world right now, this is a very special artist, and we’re thrilled that he’ll be headlining side by side with acts like Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire."
