As part of their "Vault" subscription series, Third Man Records is releasing a recording of The White Stripes' first live performance—an open mic night on July 14, 1997 at the Gold Dollar in Detroit. The Live at the Gold Dollar 7" comes on red vinyl and features 'Jimmy the Exploder,' 'St. James Infirmary Blues,' and a cover of 'Love Potion #9.'

The full Life at the Gold Dollar 12", on white vinyl, was recorded at the band's first full performance on August 14, 1997. It features versions of 'Lafayette Blues,' 'Screwdriver,' and a cover of The Stooges' 'TV Eye.'
