Not only can The Eagles claim that Hotel California is one of the biggest selling albums of all time, they can now claim they literally have the world's largest record... sort of.

To celebrate their residency at the Forum in Los Angeles this month, and the venue's relaunch, the Forum decided to create the "World's Largest Vinyl Record", though it won't actually play music... obviously. The vinyl record is 407 feet in diameter, covers 250,000 square feet and took 75 crew members working every day of the Christmas holiday to make. It also spins at 17 miles per hour.

If you're into construction, watch the 'making of' video below.
