I'm a sucker for a good impromptu cover and you should be too -- especially when it implies having two great bands coming together to make it happen. The Wytches have teamed-up with Blood Red Shoes to bring us a flawless version of T.Rex's 1972 hit 'Children of the Revolution', and although it's pretty straightforward with little to no differences from the Glam original, it's definitely worth more than a spin.

"Last year me and Gianni from the Wytches went to a halloween party themed on dead rockstars, and unknown to each other we both showed up as Marc Bolan… so we decided we should probably do a T. Rex cover sometime," Blood Red Shoes' Steven Ansell explains. "'Children of the Revolution' was our favourite choice and it seems pretty apt to release it now since our country is being lead into the abyss by an older generation of people who don’t see the world anything like the way we do"

You can stream the track here, but we suggest downloading the WAV. version as profits go directly to Save The Children.
