Hurrah! Thee Oh Sees 54 day hiatus is over! It was largely due to John Dwyer's move from the Bay Area to LA and years of extensive touring, and, well, they just needed a break. They've just announced their next album Drop, though, which is due out on 29th April through Dwyer's label Castle Face Records.

The album sees contributions from Mikal Cronin, Greer McGettrick of the Mallard, Casafis, and drummer Chris Woodhouse. It's said to have “an emphasis on the pensive and the paranoid", which would make sense when you look at the colourful and frantic album artwork. Check out the tracklist and stream 'Penetrating Eye', which Dwyer described as being "the heaviest Oh Sees song yet", below.
