If you'll be in London from 15 - 19 April and like These New Puritans, this news is for you. The band have announced their Magnetic Field interactive exhibit, which will be taking place at 180 The Strand in London. The exhibit is centered around the 'Magnetic Resonator Piano', or MRP, which was used for the first time ever on These New Puritans' record Field of Reeds and will be made available for public viewing at the installation. While you're there you'll be able to interact with the piano yourself using motion sensor technology.

In addition, there will be a series of guests stopping by including the legendary drummer Charles Hayward, singer/songwriter Gwilym Gold, Halls, Steve Beresford, East India Youth, Will Dutta, scanner, and a chat with the creator of the MRP, Andrew McPherson. To celebrate, Magnetic Field will be seeing a release to vinyl which features a brand new reworking of Field of Reeds produced by Jack Barnett and Graham Sutton together as Bark Psychosis (and it'll be their first release in 10 years). It's limited to 500 copies, and each one of the 12" will be numbered and signed by the band. If you're interested in that, as you probably should be, you can pre-order it here.
