Looking for an excuse to travel across the channel this July? Look no further: the 2015 edition of City Sounds Festival, which takes place July 17th and 18th at La Cigale, Paris, may just be the thing for you.

After a very successful 2013 San Francisco-themed edition, the two-day urban event is back this summer with New York as the background (the main purpose of the festival is to showcase and celebrate the unique vibes of a different city in each edition). Travelling to the French capital will be White Hills, Thurston Moore Band, The Men, Heavy Trash, Beech Creeps, and The Mystery Lights, in a festival that has Ty Segall as godfather, and names such as Andrew Loog Oldham and photographer Mick Rock as part of the committee of honour.

Tickets are now on sale for €27/28 (depending on the day) and €50 (weekend passes). For further information on the event, check out the official website (in French).
