Electronic musician Tim Hecker has announced details of his new album, Virgins, set for an October release.

Virgins is Hecker's follow-up to 2011's Ravedeath, 1972. Hecker is expanding his sound palette on the new record with live ensembles, promising more percussive and tighter arrangements. Virgins was recorded last year across three different periods in Montreal, Seattle, and Reykjavik.
