It's not all about Lykke Li and tUnE-yArDs this week, even though their two stellar records are deserved of at least half your waking life at the moment, other artists have crept through with some burnished gems. Featuring Naomi Pilgrim, Hockeysmith, Mausi, K Stewart and Banks x Jerome LOL, here are our Top 5 Songs of the Week.

  • Artist: Jerome LOL
  • Track Name: 'Goddess (Jerome LOL Edit)'
  • Location: Los Angeles, USA

If you're catching Banks on her completely sold out North American tour later this month, you should probably make it a point to get there early. Jerome LOL has just been announced as the opener! To celebrate, he's released his remix of the soon-to-be-megastar's newest single 'Goddess', the first from her debut album of the same name. Stream it below, and let us know what you think!

  • Artist: Mausi
  • Track Name: 'My Friend Has A Swimming Pool'
  • Location: London, UK
  • Link: Facebook
  • Author: Peter Hinson

Mausi have announced they'll be making a very summery pit stop on the way to their forthcoming debut album with 'My Friend Has A Swimming Pool'. The new single's release date is consciously timed to the summer months, but this isn't a song that just uses the season's sonics - sunshine is its very subject matter. 'My Friend Has A Swimming Pool' is out on July 6th via Relentless Records and Sony. Stream it below.

  • Artist: K Stewart
  • Track Name: 'Tell Me 'Bout That'
  • Location: London, UK
  • Link: Facebook
  • Author: Tarynn Law

From the sounds of the vintage intro, you wouldn't think that you'd be getting into one of the best pop tracks out so far this year. However, that intro is just one of the many lovely things in K Stewart's (or Kate Stewart) new song 'Tell Me 'Bout That'. If you've seen Bondax live any time recently she may seem pretty familiar to you as she's been their live vocalist for a bit, but 'Tell Me Bout That' marks her first entrance into the solo game. The song was produced by Karma Kid and her voice at times is so reminiscent of Christina Aguilera it's scary, and you can stream it below. She's rumoured to have tracks coming out with TCTS and Bondax soon, so keep an eye out for those.

  • Artist: Hockeysmith
  • Track Name: 'Hesitate'
  • Location: Cornwall, UK
  • Link: Facebook
  • Author: Peter Hinson

Cornwall-sister-duo Hockeysmith have unveiled another track from their forthcoming debut EP But Blood, which is released on May 26th via Double Denim Records. The EP takes its name from the fantastic lead track the band released back in February. The song appears on the EP alongside the previously previewed 'Meanwhile' and a pair of new track called 'Phantom Whistle' and 'Hesitate', an anxious stormer that's streaming below.

  • Artist: Naomi Pilgrim
  • Track Name: 'House Of Dreams'
  • Location: Stockholm, Sweden
  • Link: Facebook
  • Author: Tarynn Law

It seems like just yesterday that Naomi Pilgrim dropped her debut EP No Gun (probably because time moves way too quickly and I'm still convinced it's February, but I digress), however the Swedish-Barbadian singer is back and continues to win us over with a new track titled 'House of Dreams'. It's a swirling wonderland of a track, co-written by Fredrik Okazaki and Dante, sounding otherwordly in all the best ways. 'House of Dreams' is her latest single and drops on 19 May via Cosmos and Best Fit.
