Toro y Moi offers up a bed of bustling muted electronics and clattering clusters of sometimes quite minimalist beats, hi-hats skittering insectoid into the void, for a new collaboration with Rome Fortune: 'Pitch Black'.

Plaintive organ-esque melodies swirl around over constant sub rumbles, and the occasional abrupt hail of trance synths, as Fortune lays his slowly considered, cryptic vocal over the top. It's not the first time the rapper has worked with a well-known, forward-thinking producer; previously, and to lesser effect in my opinion, he collaborated with Four Tet on 'Leaders'.
