We've already brought you two gorgeous tracks from Amen Dunes in the past couple of months, 'Miki Dora' and 'Blue Rose', both from his upcoming album Freedom. The final song to be put out ahead of the album's release is 'Believe', another beautiful and bold song harping on imagery of his youth and the figures that shaped it.

Shortly after Mother's Day (in the UK) is the ideal time for the release of 'Believe', as Amen Dunes here contemplates his shifting perspective on his mother's life. Where once he was judgemental of the wreckless tales of her life, he now holds the deepest admiration as he has seen her deal with terminal cancer with such dignity and fearlessness. Bringing her to life with perfectly picked images, 'Believe' is six minutes of resplendent indie-Americana dedicated to the generations that moulded us. His mother's character and his belief in her is spangled throughout the song, but is encapsulated nicely in the simple lines "They said you lived out on the wrong side/ You said that’s half the fun."

Listen to 'Believe' below.

Amen Dunes' Freedom comes out through Sacred Bones on March 30th. Catch him and his band playing the following UK dates:
