Beach Riot are a Brighton-based fourpiece who have been kicking around the British rock scene for a couple of years, honing their fierce guitar attack. They've now taken it into the studio with Blood Red Shoes' Steven Ansell, and have come out the other end with a debut self-titled EP that will be released on December 7th through Vallance Records.

To get you even more excited about this explosive young band, we recommend you check out the lead single from the EP 'Good To Know (That I'm Still On Your Mind)'; it's a track that's as cheeky as it is catchy, and will certainly remain on your mind for a time. Blasting forth with power pop punk guitars and a sturdy rhythm section, Beach Riot make a play for your affection with neon melodies and a simplistic hook. Looking back at a former fling, perhaps with pride, perhaps with contempt, they deliver the delicious comment "it's good to know I'm still on your mind" with just the right level of attitude to keep you wanting more, before spiralling off into a punchy guitar climax.
