Cate Le Bon and Bradford Cox (Deerhunter/Atlas Sound) have revealed that their collaborative Myths 004 EP will be coming out on November 1st. It's the latest in the series which has seen pairings of Dev Hynes and Connan Mockasin, Ariel Pink and Weyes Blood, and Dungen and Woods.

The pair's EP was recorded before Le Bon went on to produce Deerhunter's Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared?, and gives us an insight into their collaborative chemistry - which was clear from this first encounter. They were also joined by an all star lineup of Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint, Stephen Black of Sweet Baboo, Tim Presley of White Fence, and Samur Khouja.

Below you can hear lead single 'Secretary', a song that beautifully meshes their two styles. Le Bon leads off the track singing oddly hollow lines in baroque, bobbing phrases with plenty of clanking and echoing atmospherics. Her doubled tracked and whimsical vocals haunt the song perfectly, suggesting the exhaustion of the titular 'Secretary'. It's not until the end that Bradford's vocal enters, with a poetic spoken-word portion, dripping with purpose and giving plenty to chew on.

Le Bon and Cox's Myths 004 EP is out on November 1st (pre-order).
