Hayden Thorpe has taken his time. While many members of acclaimed bands feel the need to strike out on their own as soon as notoriety allows, Thorpe waited until Wild Beasts went their separate ways to venture out on his lonesome. Perhaps it was out of respect, or a lack of need, but whatever the reason, we can all be glad he's come back to us now.

He will release his debut solo album, Diviner, via Domino come May 24th, and today he's revealed the new single, 'Love Crimes', which follows the revelation of the title track last month. A melancholy, gently surging piano-led piece, it provides the perfect backdrop for Thorpe's plaintive voice.

Along with the song, he's shared a visual, check that out below, and look out for Diviner soon.
