The recent return of Norwich duo Let's Eat Grandma with the SOPHIE-produced track 'Hot Pink' was an Earth-shattering one; one that signalled that the pair are on their way to creating something big on their next release. They have this week announced that their second album will be called I'm All Ears and be coming out on June 29th.

Along with the announcement comes the new single 'Falling Into Me'. Although without the same quaking production of 'Hot Pink', 'Falling Into Me' still kicks with the force of an enraged mare, and the most impressive thing about it is just how cool and composed Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth sound as they vocally dance about atop the crunchy beats. 'Falling Into Me' shifts through several different modes, from spare processed acoustic, to techno-inflected beats, to a house-like build up to its final denouement. Throughout this the young partnership is trading off vocals, switching between sweet and cutting with a poise that suggests years of cultivation. As the song swings its way out over the horizon towards the end, you can just picture the pair of them effortlessly swaggering away with the cool just radiating off them.

The song is all about getting over your fears and showing yourself for who you are, and with its confidence and composure 'Falling Into Me' is the perfect vessel for that. The duo explains it further:

“It’s about getting to know someone and getting over your fears about feeling insecure. It’s about telling people how you feel.” – Rosa.

“It’s about communication. Some of the lyrics reference being in control as a woman in a romantic relationship, and being the one to initiate. So you’re the person who tells them that you like them, you’re taking the initiative. It’s the importance of if you feel something, tell them. Because you don’t know what’s going to happen in life, you might as well just do it.” - Jenny
