Pizzagirl is building up to the release of his debut album first timer, which comes out on October 11th through Heist or Hit. Today he shares the latest single to be taken from the record, 'dennis', a humorous tale of jealousy and youthful travails. He introduces the track by saying:

"I'm proud to introduce to you the class clown of the album, dennis!! A bitter, meta, footlong sub of jealousy, sports and that 43 year old guy who just stole your girl, all wrapped up in a neat little single length grease proof wrapping! Free cookie on the side if you want it?"

It's hard to come up with a better introduction to 'dennis' than above, as he's perfectly summed up the dichotomy of the track: the feelings expressed may be immature and histrionic - but damn, it matters so much. We've surely all been in the situation where the object of our affection is clearly attracted to someone else, and you're left completely baffled and pissed off. Musically 'dennis' is jaunty and bright, with Pizzagirl trying to show off his devil-may-care attitude, but he can't help the green of envy at the 43-year-old rival from peeking out from under his shirt - and it makes for a beseeching and smirk-inducing chorus.
