New Jersey trio Screaming Females will tomorrow be releasing their seventh album All At Once. It seems as though it's lucky number 7 for the band, as it's arguably their most emphatic and consistent statement to date. As a final teaser of the record before they unleash it in full, they've released the lightning in a bottle new single 'I'll Make You Sorry', along with a video by Lance Bangs.

From the unsuspecting opening intonations of "I'll make you sorry..." from bandleader Marissa Patternoster, in which you can hear the venom in her voice and gaze, the song then explodes into a rip-roaring pop rock mission statement. Riding atop a chiming guitars and four-to-the-floor rhythms, Patternoster shows off her vocal chops, before diving head first into the unforgiving chorus, which might well be the most immediate and catchy Screaming Females have ever recorded, but it still wields all the gilt-edges of their usual punk stylings. Patternoster's seething dovetails perfectly with the band's rock'n'roll poise, creating a fireball of a song that will inevitably get stuck looping its way around your head dextrously for the next few hours.
