We've had to wait a few months to get our first new music from one of our most-hyped young bands, but Sorry have made sure it's worth the wait as they deliver the riotous 'Jealous Guy'.

The track takes its initial cue from the John Lennon track of the same name, but gives it a modern and youthful twist. Asha Lorenz is unforgiving in the role of the titular 'Jealous Guy', ramping up the prurient posturing and the maddening envy he feels towards anyone who approaches his betrothed. Sorry inject their swaggering rock with a steaminess that characterises the over-protectiveness of the protagonist perfectly. Once again Lorenz and co-leader Louis O’Bryen prove themselves to have an eye for irony and detail that is far beyond their years - and even more impressively they know how to transmute this vision into punchy pop rock songs.

The vision doesn't just stop in the tunes; they're also a dab hand at creating perfect videos. The clip for 'Jealous Guy' was created by Asha Lorenz and Flo Webb (collectively called Flasha) who say of it “We played on the saxophone idea - I guess like a Madness or The Specials video or like the blues brothers, sharply dressed and funny, interesting shots of us about town. The theme of jealousy runs through the video and the last shot is Asha killing Louis due to her jealousy.”
