Through this year we've brought you tracks from rising London band Sorry, as they tease their way towards their debut album, which is due out on Domino. While we still don't have any more concrete information about that, we do have an excellent new song called 'Starstruck'.

Built around emphatic helter-skelter guitar chords and a punchy rhythmic underpinning, Sorry strut into 'Startstruck' with utter confidence, captured by Asha Lorenz's unflustered vocal. She easily dismisses people around her, "I don't talk the small talk/ you do... I won't play quite like you do/ you're the diamond." These constant comparisons start to wheel their way around Lorenz's mind, in a flurry until she spits our a punk rock "yeugh." The band takes over with their loping chorus, "you did it again/ starstruck," Lorenz summarises, unimpressed, possibly talking to herself. 'Startstruck' goes into a dreamy breakdown, as if she's receding into the peace of her mind for a second, only to kick back into reality with another emphatic "yeugh," before riding out the rampant riffs to the finale.

'Starstruck' comes with a video envisioned by and starring Lorenz, which takes inspiration from webcam girls and racy websites, turning the song into something much seedier than you might have expected. Lorenz calls it their "homemade ode to saucy old pop videos.” Watch and listen to 'Starstruck' below.
