Deliluh will be releasing a new album called Beneath The Floors on November 15th, a mere matter of months after their mini album Oath of Intent.

They've shared a song from the new record called 'Lickspittle (A Nut In The Paste)', which Kyle Knapp explains "characterizes a naive outcast struggling to swing with an elitist crowd. The subject is a metaphor for the rampant trend of nouveau-bougie horse chocolate popping up all over Toronto: a 'craft' class of try-hards, pining for status."

The harsh edge of that feeling is not necessarily present in the dreamy punk guitars and Knapp's lackadaisical vocal in 'Lickspittle'; instead it better reflects the numbness that we all feel at seeing these kinds of nonsense dealers popping up all around us. Ribbons of sax underscore the creeping annoyance in the song, but Knapp soldiers on through the bright streets seeing "another waste of space" after "another waste of space." His disgust is evident, but the urgency is hidden inside this softly thrumming beauty of a song.
