Guys, I'm very excited and it's not in a 'there's new Tom Hiddleston promos' kind of way - it's a geeky Tolkien kind of excited. But aside from that huge trailer, we have what can only be the first of many Christmas trailers and something for anyone missing Aaron Paul already.

Now, besides my initial 'That's definitely not in the book' reaction, I'm fairly certain Peter Jackson could do whatever the hell he wanted and I would only mildly dislike paying the price of a 3D showing to watch The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. It's quite Legolas heavy, which suggests this film at least veers off from the book probably more than many would like. Bonus face off between Sherlock and Watson... or Bilbo and Smaug, probably best to not get those two mixed up.

Foxcatcher many not be the film you should imagine Steve Carell to be in, but I'm getting the feeling this is going to be quite a big thing for him. It's based on the autobiography of Mark Schultz, an Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler (amongst many wins), and the Foxcatcher Farm wrestling facticity. I would divulge more, but a) spoilers, and I don't really know how many of you are wrestling fans. So if you want to know: go forth and Internet search, either way, it's a cracking trailer.

Are you over Breaking Bad yet? Do you even care about Breaking Bad? Do you even know who Aaron Paul is? No matter what your answers were, here's Aaron Paul with a load of cars in Need for Speed.

And onto something a little lighter, Disney return withFrozen, a film about a town being frozen over. Seriously that's all I have to say about the plot however, Kristen Bell in all her crying-over-sloths-lovableness really wins me over in this.

And as promised, the first Christmas trailer to pass before my eyes this year... its cheesy but hell, its Christmas. Welcome to Black Nativity...
