Out of the entire Marvel superhero back catalogue, did anyone actually expect an Ant-Man film? Especially when we're still being deprived of a Black Widow film (not that I'm bitter or anything, but come on already!). Armed with a suit that has the ability to skink a man in size but also, rather conveniently, has super strength, Paul Rudd is going to save the world. I really hope this is one of the funnier Marvel films because there is no way I can take a super tiny Paul Rudd seriously. Although, coming from the director of Bring It On, this is going to be an interesting one. It also features Evangeline Lily, which proves she doesn't have to be a disgruntled elf to kick some ass.

Ryan Reynolds again, and yes I'm still a little unsure but in The Voices he is back to his comedy roots, and I love it. It's weird, it's a little murdery and has Anna Kendrick co-starring; surely this is a recipe for sheer comedic brilliance? Reynolds plays Jerry who, guided by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog, pursues his office crush, which just happens to make him stumble upon being a bit of a killer. He also sings aloud at work - something that has happened to the best of us.

Accidental Love, a film with an air of production mystery surrounding it. Filming ended in 2008, after which it was shelved until last year when it was suddenly audience ready. How strange. 'Unofficially' directed by David O. Russell (of American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook), he left the project in 2010, so directing credit goes to his pseudonym Stephen Greene. But enough with the production drama, and onto the plot. Jessica Biel plays a waitress who gets a nail lodged into her brain causing unpredictable behaviour. Her fiancé, James Marsden, has reconsidered his marriage proposal, and her medical case takes her to Washington (and seemingly into the arms of young senator Jake Gyllenhaal). I think the behind the scenes intrigue just adds to the appeal.

For anyone who can't get over Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Golden Globes performance, here's Sisters. Our favourite comediennes are siblings visiting home with the intention of throwing the best house party ever.
