Three amazing trailers this week folks, no trust me they are. We have one of the most anticipated Disney films (and this doesn't even have pirates in it, practically novel for Disney), a British comedy with your favourite Irish guy from The IT Crowd, Nick Frost flexing his solo comedic skills and Russell Crowe saving some animals in a story you might just recognise.

Ahh, Maleficent, it feels like a long time coming for this film. Angelina Jolie plays the title role in this retelling of Sleeping Beauty which looks at the events which lead up to Maleficent cursing Aurora, played by Elle Fanning. While I have a feeling Elle might not have a future in trailer voiceovers, as first look trailers go, this is pretty impressive. And listen out for Jolie's evil laugh at the end, she definitely practiced that a lot.

I swear it was only last week when I wrote about Russell Crowe playing another oh so glorious film baddy, but lo and behold. he's gone and became a biblical character in the form of Noah. You know, the one with the arc and all that. Another classic tale of Hollywood retelling a bible story, and why not, it's been a while since people stopped laughing at The Passion of Christ. At least this has all the credentials of being an actual hit, written and directed by Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream) and a supporting cast just as impressive.

And finally, my personal favourite trailer of the week is Cuban Fury. First of all, Nick Frost and Chris O'Dowd partaking in a salsa dance off in a car park? Fantastic. Olivia Colman as a barmaid/dance goddess? Sold. And to top it off it's all in the name to win over Ann Perkins (or better known by her actual name of Rashida Jones), where do I queue?
