Lets get right down to business today folks because we've actually got a list of films that all look pretty damn good.

First off is Only Lovers Left Alive, and we all know how long I've been going on about this particular trailer, but Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston in the same film... be still my film nerd heart.

Next on the agenda is Charlie Countryman. Whatever weird rumours are continuing to swirl the internet about Shia LaBeouf, he appears to be quite the impressive lead in this trailer. Joined by Evan Rachel Wood, Mads Mikkelson and Rupert Grint, this trailer goes from being just a slightly weird love story to drugs, violence and what I can only assumer as Mads Mikkelson beating the lights out of a few people. Entertaining.

The Wolf of Wall Street is Leonardo Dicaprio's reunion with director Martin Scorsese, and it's nice to see him go from absurdly rich Jay Gatsby to someone who is just merely rich. It will probably also be a good example of why people generally don't trust anyone that works with money.

And of course it wouldn't be awards season without Kate Winslet and this year she stars in Labor Day. Kate is a single mother who 'takes in' Frank (Josh Brolin) an escaped convict and was described by director Jason Reitman as a romantic drama. 'Romantic drama' in the Hollywood 'Stockholm syndrome' sense it seems though.

For fans of Marion Cotillard here is The Immigrant. In search of her sister after being separated upon their arrival in America, she turns to Joaquin Phoenix for help, who then forces her into prostitution. I think we can assume it's quite an intense watch then.

I'm going to end this week with two films that will be fighting it out for superhero(es) of 2014. Going for the 'we can get a bigger ensemble cast than The Avengers' is the new X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Oh and if someone wants to explain to me what exactly is going on in this then that would be quite nice.

And then we have Captain America: The Winter Solider. I'm loving the inclusion of Scarlett Johansson and the fact that Hayley Atwell is credited as Peggy Carter on its IMDB page, so it'll be interesting to see how they work her in.
