Trust, aka Robert Alfons, adopts a bassy baritone on his new track 'Are We Arc', breaking into high falsetto whenever the synth punches in. It's the newest track released from his upcoming album Joyland, which is out April 7th via Art & Crafts. Alfons has shared this mysterious titbit of information about the song's origins: "It was written on the side of volcano while in Argentina, inspired by patience and lava. An integral tender moment in the album's story." And it makes sense; you can hear the glacial flow and blistering heat of lava in this great pop song. It's threatens an eruption that never comes, and lets you stand safely in its radiance.
