Tweet's long-running sabbatical comes to an end next month with the release of Charlene, after signing with independent label eOne Music last year. It comes following a tumultuous few years of failed record deals and legal complications which ultimately left her unable to release any music (she did, however release her Simply Tweet EP in 2013).

The release of Charlene sees Tweet reunite with her musical buddy Missy Elliott, who not only features on one of the tracks but is also rumoured to have had a hand on production duties on some of the tracks along with her musical partner Timbaland. While full production credits have not yet been announced, Tweet has now unveiled a new track from the album to coincide with her birthday which is also today (Jan. 21) and follows up the well-received debut single 'Won't Hurt Me' from last year. 'Magic' continues to bring the classic R&B sound we've all come to know and love from this Southern Hummingbird; a sound that looks to continue on the album, which received early praise from fans and press when it was previewed late last year.

Charlene will be released on February 26 with 'Won't Hurt Me' and 'Magic' available now when you pre-order the album on iTunes.
