It was with their names that Odd Future really started to make an impact on the scene, though Frank Ocean is the rap group's major breakout star, but Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt are apparently no longer going to be working on the Earlwolf collaboration album they've been hinting at for so long. They've toured together under the moniker before but it seems Tyler isn't so keen on the idea happening due to the hype surrounding it.

Earl has already discussed doing the album, telling NME last year that he'd like to do it, but only if they had the time to sit down in the studio to get it done, but Tyler took to Twitter and then to spring.me to tell fans that he doesn't think the album would even meet the expectations set by fans so, really, he doesn't want to disappoint if it doesn't go off as planned. The best way to not disappoint? Not do anything in the first place, apparently.

Here's the statement:

"im serious. i dont want to do it anymore and to be honest it will never live up to the expectations of people that really want it. not that that really matters, but, im not in the mindframe to do a whole album of that shit. i dont want to do it. maybe one day when i dont want to make clothing and furniture and gay ass fruity music about lakes and shit, ill get back around to hard hitting raps, but the way things are looking, its only gonna get worse until i turn full fag."
