Unknown Mortal Orchestra are on the verge of releasing their new album Sex & Food, and they're putting their foot down on the 'excitement' pedal in the build up, releasing a new single called 'Everyone Acts Crazy Nowadays' and announcing that they'll be headlining London's Royal Albert Hall in November.

'Everyone Acts Crazy Nowadays' is a classic slice of UMO; guitar pop with a sepia filter and a few funky asides. Combining his talents at songwriting, production and an ear for analogue instrumentation within his complex pop structures, UMO's 'Everyone Acts Crazy Nowadays' is another example of why this act is one of the most cherished and played in alternative circles. Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Sex & Food comes out through Jagjaguwar on April 6th. They'll be playing the Royal Albert Hall on November 21st, following a sold out show at the Roundhouse on May 24th. Check their official site for details.
