Following news at the start of 2015 that Unknown Mortal Orchestra's album was in the mastering stage, it's finally been properly announced. Its name? Multi-Love. The date of release? 26th May, via Jagjaguwar.

They've shared the title track from the album, which you can listen to below. It's a jaunty number that features frenetic abrasive drum fills, elements of dusty, toned-down psychedelia and unexpected chord progressions, all on a bed of shivering truncated keyboard melodies.

Frontman Rurban Nielson shared these words about the upcoming album:

"It felt good to be rebelling against the typical view of what an artist is today, a curator. It's more about being someone who makes things happen in concrete ways. Building old synthesizers and bringing them back to life, creating sounds that aren't quite like anyone else's. I think that's much more subversive."

At the end of this post you'll also find the tracklisting for the album, plus a load of dates for mostly May and June tour that takes them from UK and Europe to the US.
