A kickstarter for Video Games Live: Level 3 has launched today, aiming to release their latest album via the crowd funding platform. The album will include music from award-winning video games created by the original composers.

'Years ago I was told that no one would enjoy video game music, let alone a world touring symphony show set to songs from video games. Audiences from around the globe have made Video Games Live the number one attended video game concert series in the world and helped our first two albums crack the elusive Billboard Charts,' said Tommy Tallarico, CEO/Executive Producer/Host of Video Games Live. 'This time around I wanted to create a video game soundtrack that was really special and doesn’t have all of the games and music that people have been recording now for years. But the music industry doesn’t believe there is market for an album like this, even after all of the ongoing success of Video Games Live. To create this album I’m asking for the support of game music fans from around the world, so we’re going to Kickstarter to see who is right, the music industry or video game fans.'

The Kickstarter campaign for Video Games Live: Level 3 the album will be studio recorded with a 72+ piece orchestra backed by a 60+ person choir and explosive rock band. All recordings will be written, arranged and conducted by famous game composers from around the world.

There will be exclusive arrangements and recordings of the following tracks:
