Spotify will start delivering video content this week following the announcement that the music-streaming service will make the long awaited transition to hosting video content for Android users in the UK, US, Germany and the company's native Sweden. Apple iOS users will have to wait, but not for long, as videos will be available on the operating system by next week's end.

Since May 2015, Spotify has been working with media partners on the product, as entertainment, news and clips will be included as part of the package. As the initial plans were announced it was said the BBC, Comedy Central, TED and Vice News, and more, would be providing Spotify users with content.
