Vince Staples has found fans all throughout the rap world, including one in Common, who featured him on his new record Nobody's Smiling. Today, though, it's Vince's turn in the spotlight with the stream of his new track 'Blue Suede'. The song, which is taken from his forthcoming album Hell Can Wait, is the first taste we've gotten after he put the ink on his shiny new contract with Def Jam and it's a huge step forward for the California rapper.

In all honesty, it's a pretty odd track. The weird synth squeal that begins from the very first note is haunting and continues through the rest of the tune (albeit at different, but all strange, tones) but it makes it all the more interesting. There's no official release date yet on Hell Can Wait, but for now, you can stream 'Blue Suede' below.
