"I finally have records that I had in the archives that I put together to let the world hear some of that G Funk that they've been missing and wanting to hear for long time," says Warren G, speaking to Billboard. He's just announced that he'll be releasing the Regulate… G Funk Era Part II EP on 6th August – a sequel to his 1994 debut, and his first project since 2009's The G Files.

Unreleased audio from the late Nate Dogg will be included on the EP. "[Fans] will be able to hear unreleased songs with me and Nate. They have been asking for years; ever since he passed away and even before he passed away, they wanted music from me and him," Warren G confirms.

Also featuring on the album are "vets of hip-hop", including E-40, Too $hort, Young Jeezy, and Bun B.
