In post-Ferguson America, more and more people are making their feelings known regarding what's happened and what should happen in the future. No police violence, no police racism, justice for victims and victims' families. D'Angelo, appearing on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, showed his support during the live performance of 'The Charade': members of his band, The Vanguard, wore t-shirts emblazoned with slogans "I CAN'T BREATHE" and "BLACK LIVES MATTER", whilst playing in front of the chalk outline of a body.

Unfortunately we're unable to actually share with you the video for that performance. However, you can still enjoy D'Angelo's performance of 'Really Love', a more balladic song that featured no slogans or solidarity whatsoever and the singer wearing a kind of steampunk gentleman's outfit. But that's showbiz.
