'Emotive' isn't the word. 'Stunning' falls short. 'Cinematic' isn't even right. There's something about Jacob Banks' voice that pulls truth hidden in darkness and as a stand-alone track, his latest single 'Unholy War' is a masterpiece. But paired with incredibly moving visuals, which were written and co-directed by the London artist, he's turned it into a moment of time that stands for something more meaningful.

"The visual is inspired by real life; a lot of people are marked and oppressed for things that are out of their control. This video is just the beginning of a story that will be told in several parts and in different ways throughout the project," he said. 'Unholy War' is off his forthcoming EP, The Boy Who Cried Freedom. Watch below.
