Shortly after the release of his Asleep Versions EP - which re-imagines four track's from 2013's outstanding full-length album Immunity - Jon Hopkins brought out his newly fleshed-out version of 'Breathe This Air' in a performance for The Guardian.

The session, which can be seen here, is performed in London's historic St. Sepulchre Church alongside guitarist and former Brian Eno and Nick Cave collaborator Leo Abrahams. For those more familiar with the Immunity version featuring Purity Ring, Hopkins' live version extends the bare framework of the track. Constructing the live demonstration, Hopkins removes the entire buildup, letting the atmosphere of the piano, Abrahams, and the openness of the church surmount the void.
