Snoop Dogg was presented with a much-deserved lifetime achievement award at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta, which aired last night. It was Kendrick Lamar who graced the stage and delivered the I Am Hip-Hop award to Uncle Snoop, who has left a huge legacy on the rap scene since 1993's Doggystyle album.

"He mastered the game through tests and challenges that earned him the respect of a college professor, except his game came from the streets," Lamar said in his intro. "Snoop Dogg was the guy, and he continues to be so."
