Shortly after revealing the true meaning of 'i', Compton megastar Kendrick Lamar introduced the official video for the single. Which comes from his still as-of-yet untitled follow-up to the utterly masterful 2012 album good kid, m.A.A.d city.

Director Alexandre Moors shoots Lamar as he cruises through his native city, showcasing the meaning of the track and much of the prevailing theme of the his previous album. By the end, Lamar is fixed in a party that seems to be a figment of his imagination, illuminating the literal darkness of his true surroundings.

While the release date still waits, Lamar has been revving up his promotion, including scheduling a spot on the November 15th episode of Saturday Night Live with host Woody Harrelson.
