Last night, the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC hosted the Peace Ball: Voices of Hope and Resistance - an event designed to celebrate the "accomplishments and successes of the past four years and the vow to continue to be the change we want to see in the world."

Among the performers was the excellent Solange, who was introduced by the legendary activist Angela Davis to perform a set which included 'Cranes in the Sky', 'Mad', 'Weary', and 'Don't Touch My Hair'. You can watch a couple of clips of her epicness below via Instagram.

The only way through. #peaceball2017
