Preluding the release of Morning Phase, the newest album from the ultra-celebrated Beck (his first official studio LP since 2008's Modern Guilt), former collaborators Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks brought out a couple cover songs during its recent Chicago performance.

The band through out a rousing cover of 'Golden Age', the opener to Beck's seminal 2002 album Sea Change, as well as Midnight Vulture's cut Debra (sort of) straight into Pavement classic 'Gold Soundz'.

The two sides previously worked together on The Jicks' 2011 album Mirror Traffic, with Beck appearing as a producer. Watch the clip below and look out for the release of Morning Phase tomorrow.
