Noise trio Sun Araw, one of the many band’s that tried to make a name for themselves during last month’s SXSW, released their Icon Give Thank album alongside M. Geddes Gangres and The Congos earlier this month. The collaboration is presented as part of the RVNG Intl. series FRKWYS, which features a documentary of the group collaborating with the aforementioned group in Jamaica.

The two groups will be performing at London’s Village Underground 22 June. In the meantime, check out Sun Araw’s avant-garde 15 March set at SXSW in the Boiler Room and Red Stripe Make Sessions’ Back Yard Broadcast here.
