The eternal beatcrafter and music maker Ta-ku has unveiled a brand new audio-visual project. Called 'Create & Explore', it combines the visual aesthetics of photographers with the music of beatmakers – the former being an interpretation of the latter, with original beats formed and used to inspire the visual side of things.

The very first in this series, described as "a conversation between mediums", features music from Californian, esta. (whose track 'InTheAir(Love Is)' we shared at the end of last week) and images courtesy of Michael Salisbury.

Filmed in Chicago, the glassy sparkle of skyscrapers contrasts with the endless rusted sprawl of the L rail service, all set to a beautifully fitting soundtrack of esta.'s spacily teetering synths, gorgeous plosive kicks and vocal samples... I think we can proclaim this partnership a success.
