When they're not busy recording fire tracks with alt-rock outfit Terraplane Sun, Johnny Zambetti and Ben Rothbard are hard at work on their brand new project The Palms. They just released their EP last week and performed with fellow SoCal residents The Colourist on Friday, and now you can get a glimpse of what went into the making of EP cut 'Revolution', shot by videographer Ben Marias.

"Nothing is as powerful and contagious as an idea- here's to planting the seed.”

On the heels of Friday's Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage in all 50 states, the band's statement about their song 'Revolution' rings truer than ever - it took a while, but planting the seed and spreading the idea of acceptance for marriage equality eventually gave way to one of the most historic civil rights moments in the U.S' history. 'Revolution' should serve as a good celebration track for the moment with its sun-drenched laid-back sound.

Those chilled out vibes look like they were also present in the studio where the song as recorded, as you can see in their brand new behind-the-scenes video which we're premiering for you today! You can watch that below, and after that pick up a free download of the song if you like what you hear - the entire EP is streaming over on their Soundcloud page.
