In August, Eirik Glambek Bøe (the long-haired troubadour from everyone’s favourites, Kings of Convenience) releases his new project, Kommode’s debut album. The recently unleashed 'Fight or Flight or Dance All Night' is the first single from the record, Analog Dance Music, and The 405 is delighted to give its accompanying visuals a first airing.

Maintaining the sonic blueprint which weaves through Kings of Convenience’s music, Kommode commits to a humble-disco groove which takes the sound down a richer, fuller path.

For the project, Glambek Bøe has collaborated with a childhood friend, Øystein Gjærder Bruvik, and the video shows the Bergen-based artist and his musician pals enjoying a cosy jam session in a Norwegian apartment.

The album boasts ten unskippable tracks and is out in the middle of August. Look out for The 405’s interview with Glambek Bøe about the new project in the coming weeks.
