West. McCartney. It's clash of the titans except there's no clashing going on, just sweet, sweet music. Oh how this song is so lovely. It's about as lovely as it was hilarious that people were like, "Omg this Paul McCartney fella gonna blow up fam." The whole ride to this point, from there to hearing the song itself and now being able to see the video, has been a good one – even better than the Vampire ride at Chessington World of Adventures.

Video? Yeah. It's really basically just perfect in its familial simplicity, featuring Kanye and North West strolling around the countryside somewhere, and was directed by Spike Jonze of all people. It's also revealed that in the song Kanye channels his late mother, singing "as" her, which I didn't know, and which makes this whole thing even more heart-melting.

This touching visual was premiered on Ellen, where he also spoke about how being married, and being a dad, has changed him for the better:

"I think I'm a better human being because of her [wife Kim Kardashian] and because of my daughter, and I have always someone to think about going home to: something for me to not only to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family, because there's things I've done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people, or for culture, in a way. So now, I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect, too."

He also shared a simple reason for the radical change in his sound over the past couple of years: "the definition of crazy is trying to do the same thing and expecting different results - so I tried something different over the past couple years, and I actually got some good results from it too." Makes sense to us.
