In what could be seen as a rare case of serendipity, the three acts that are leading this track have all enjoyed a fruitful year in their own lanes. Bristolian expat Conducta is happily - and quite rightfully - owning his title as the prince of UKG, while Jorja Smith looks set to appear on every 'Ones to Watch' list over the coming months.

The record's original producer Cadenza has also begun his own rise to notoriety - fast becoming a go-to producer. His recent single 'People' (which features Smith and Dre Island) won critical praise across the board and is currently sitting pretty on the BBC Radio 1 playlist as part of the In New Music We Trust list.

For this remix, Cadenza takes a back seat and allows Conducta to take control, offering his signature UKG sound. Smith and Island's vocals have been chopped and sprinkled throughout, resulting in an excellent remix that might just bring up some summer memories to your mind. "I wanted to flip the tune completely and give an upbeat/summer/ beach feel," Conducta told us via email. "I remembering hearing it a particular time in Barcelona; I knew exactly where I wanted to take the remix. As well as the tune being bass oriented, Cadenza guided me on making sure I fused musical elements of garage and I couldn't forget to add my own trademark vocal chops."

Cadenza - also speaking via email - added, "Jorja has that classic sweet girl sound to her voice. In fact, I know she would sound amazing if she did her own Garage record,so it totally made sense to reach out to the guy who's doing that sound in the most original way right now."

The Conducta remix of 'People' is available now via all good digital platforms.
