Oliver Rodigan, aka Cadenza, wraps up the summer with the release of 'People', which follows the highly praised 'No Drama' featuring Avelino and Jamaica's own Assassin.

For 'People', Cadenza brings it closer to home, calling on rising singer-songwriter Jorja Smith (Cadenza also produced her most recent single 'Where Do I Go?'), and Dre Island for another Drum & Bass-meets-Reggae cut that flows through various channels before ending on a Jungle styled beat.

Speaking to Annie Mac, who made the track her 'Hottest Record In The World', Cadenza said he originally intended to sample the loop before it grew into something more. "We used that as a basis and I really thought that would be the main part of the record [just that loop] but it ended up just going somewhere completely different; it went off in this darker turn... It really went on this crazy journey, I'm just really happy with it."

Cadenza plays this year's Notting Hill Carnival as part of his label The Full Hundred's party on August 29. 'People' is available now from all good digital platforms.
